Message	Same, I lost a tire in the front of a fox body mustang once. They looked just fine but one had part of the sidewall go and once that happened the tread separated from the belt and the whole tire let go. It happened in a split second and left me with just enough control to get onto the shoulder of the highway. Even part of the steal belt had been torn and was flapping. I dont care if it is in the back or not, if the tire comes apart in a major way your in trouble. Combined with the speeds that a TT is so easily capable of you could have some serious problems. Is saving $500 worth your car or even your life?
